Hi there! I’m Gina, the hands and heart behind Evolution Embroidery & Crafts.

By day, I work as a high school counselor, helping students navigate their paths, discover their strengths, and build their futures. It is incredibly rewarding work that requires patience, deep listening, and a lot of heart. By night, I channel that same passion for growth and dedication into my creative studio.

For me, crafting isn't just a hobby—it’s a vital part of who I am. Being creative allows me to bring ideas to life from the ground up. There is a beautiful parallel between counseling and crafting: both are about taking raw potential, and with patience and care, shaping it into something meaningful, structured, and beautiful.

Evolution Embroidery & Crafts was born out of a love for the process of making—learning new techniques, mastering tools (from classic sewing machines to 3D printers!), and pouring attention into every single detail. Just as I encourage my students to explore their potential and embrace growth, I love pushing the boundaries of my own creativity to craft high-quality, unique pieces for you.

When I'm not in the school hallway or busy in the craft studio, you can usually find me spending time with my two miniature dachshunds, who serve as the unofficial supervisors of my home workspace.
